Brake dust stains...
Okay fellaz,
So it's my own fault for not washing my car for such a long period of time. I moved outta state, etc. and hadn't gotten around to it till now. So the body came impressively clean...but the front wheels are apparently "stained"... I mean I used Black Magic on 'em and it got a good layer off, but once dry, I attempted to start buffing with a cotton tee, but to no avail. The wheels are a polished aluminum job by American Racing (on when I bought the car), and I'm wondering if I should just do another Black Magic spraying job and keep working at it, or resort to some other means of getting the impregnated brake dust out of the wheel surface? A guy at the car wash insisted on using Windex to further the cleaning process...I'm kinda apprehensive about that... and wanted to check in with the EXPERTS of the F-Body world before doing ANYthing. Any help is appreciated as always guys. Thanks in advance!
