Default Corsa Clones

Hey I just have a question about the Corsa Clone Tips for the owners of these speciments. Before I buy them I just wanted to see what the owners thought about the quality, the looks, and the wear of them. The TA doesnt see any wet weather or snow considering that it is in storage from mid oct to may. Do you guys like them? Or any complaints of the product? I have an SLP LM1, do you think they would fit? Thanks for any help.

Mike

most people have the old style, 2.25 inlets and 3in outlets that are chrome

the new styles have 3.5in outlets and 2.5 or 3in inlets and all stainless,
looks killer on fbods

I have Corsa clones, but not the ones from Chrome & Performance. The ones I have are 3.5" outlets with 2.5" inlets and are SS, while the C&P ones are 3" outlets with 2.25 inlets and are chrome.

This is my opinion. The smaller ones w/ the chrome tips are higher quality. The larger ones, though nice, are not as high quality, but fill TA bumper fascia cut-outs better. I have the larger ones.

Well, it's chrome vs. SS, so the smaller ones will shine better. I spent about 10 minutes doing a very quick polish on my SS ones, and they're a little better. With the time & effort, the SS ones will shine up really nicely.

Chrome and Performance charge $100 for a set. Someone said that they are bigger inlets now. I just hope they would fit my LM1. I got to figure out what my outlet on the tail pipe is. 2001somws.6 PM sent.

I used to be a sponsor here (C&P) but I can't offer any directions for sales unless someone asks via pm.

I can say this... because it's about tech and advice...

The smaller ones aren't 2.25 in... they are 2.5 in... they fit EVERY catback out there. (Must be installed at an exhaust shop.)
and they are head and shoulders above the newer (larger) ones out there when it comes to corrosion resistance...

I will claim this. I've sold well past 50-75 sets. NOT ONE has ever complained.

Sweet thanks for the advice. How come you have to take them to an exhaust shop??? Just wondering.

I bought them and had them on for awhile and hated them. They were too hard to keep clean and if you didn't keep them clean the exhaust would give the tips the appearance of pencil-tipped exhaust tips like the Hooker ones.

The quality was ok. They looked really cool but they didn't fill up the rear that nicely. I went with some other tips that are beefier looking and have yet to clean them because they stay immaculate. Oh yea, they are double-rolled tips too.

I've have Mother's Powerball and tried those on my rims. I didn't like the results so I figure'd it wouldn't work on the tips. I jus' recently got into chrome cleaners but damn it took some elbow grease without those things. There are better tips out there.
