Has anyone ever used this wax?

Keep in mind that it is an ad and the point is to get you to purchase it using manipulations. I've never heard of this either but if you don't want to expirement, stick with a proven performer.
I like the 110% money-back gaurantee though. Unless it's one of those, ask-you-all-type-of-questions-don't-send-you-back-any-money schemes. Like, "Did you apply it correctly with our specific Orbital buffer and microfiber cloths?" "No, I have my own." "We're sorry. We'll have to deny your claim."

Paint Prep Plus was applied x 2 (by hand and by machine)
Application: By hand, it’s a chore. By machine it works much better. Product residue wipes off easy. I believe the main objective of PPP is to achieve maximum bonding with PGP. I observed very minor correction abilities at best. This polish isn’t a SMR, and if it’s supposed to be, there are many better choices on the market. Unless your paint is in pretty good shape, you’ll need to perform additional polishing duties before you break out the Paint Prep Plus, using the brand of your choice. It worked ok as a chemical cleaner, but not as well as several other brands on the market.
To me, Paint Prep Plus is like a $30 bottle of Polycharger, but you have to apply and remove it in separate steps vs. mixing in with your LSP. The only time I would use PPP, would be on an Ultima detail, and one bottle of PPP will run out long before PGP.

Ultima Paint Guard Plus
Cost: $70.00 (including applicator)
Prep Steps: Ultima Paint Prep Plus
Application: Easy application, fast drying, minor (or no) streaking.
Best results are achieved with the supplied applicator in terms of an even appearance & limited streaking. Foam, cotton, and smaller MF applicators do not work as well. If you purchase Ultima, you might want to pick up a 6 pack of applicators. 1-2 mists per panel, 3-4 on larger panels. You will use a little more product initially as you ‘prime’ the pad, but less as your pad moistens up a bit.
**Note** Be careful with the applicator. I don’t believe it is manufactured with ‘top’ grade MF material, or it could be general inconsistencies in MF cloth, but I picked up some marring with the supplied pad. Try to limit any pressure on the pad.
Cure Time: 48 Hours before any water touched the surface.
Initial Appearance: High Gloss.
Glass: Hazed. Wiped down with a damp MF
Textured Trim (Black): It stained (chalked) black textured trim, similar to a wax based product.
Wheels: No issues.
Washing: Meg’s Gold Class
After washes 1-3 the gloss remained high and beading was good, but not as tight as seen on the initial wash.
No QD/Booster was used, so slickness drops off, as expected.
After the 3rd wash, we had a series of 2-3 days of rain.
After the 4th wash I noticed a significant drop in gloss, appearance, and beading

Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus
Cost $40.00
Prep: I used HT Tire cleaner & a wheel brush to strip all tires to ensure a clean, well prepped surface.
Tire & Trim Guard Plus reminds you of a tire gel, but it’s not as thick as most.
I tried a 2:3 water mix for dressing wheel wells but it didn’t dilute, which tells me this isn’t a water based dressing. Tire & Trim Guard Plus is solvent based.
Application: I used Eagle One & Round Foam applicators. Both worked well.
Appearance: Low-Med Gloss. If you want more gloss, apply another coat. On low profile tires, T&TGP worked best. On tires with larger side walls (passenger cars, SUV’s) T&TGP had hit & miss results. It seemed the larger the sidewall the more problematic. I experienced ‘dry patches’, uneven blotchy appearance –a real eye sore. I didn’t get any tire sling (which is rare for a gel), but the appearance was very frustrating. I re-cleaned/prepped the problematic tires, and re-applied T&TGP and ran into the same problems.
Durability: After each wash, I could visibly see beading on my tires which is the good news. Appearance on the other hand took a big hit. The initial appearance didn’t hold up well. Again, the appearance was better on low profile tires, but nothing to jump up and down about. Another thing that I noticed after a few days of sun/heat exposure was tire ‘browning’. The browning became much worse when it rained. The one bright spot was that the dressing held up fairly well on textured black plastic (door handles, running board step pads).
The Ultima Web site FAQ’s states “Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus contains premium UV inhibitors that stop oxidation (browning) and UV deterioration dead in their tracks. In fact, there is no better treatment for RVs, trailers and other vehicles that sit for long periods” . I didn’t find this information accurate, based on my uses, and multiple experiences with tire browning.
Honestly, I expected a lot more out of a $40 tire dressing. I would rate this product ‘Poor’
