Sail panels keep popping out.
Mine started doing this after i replaced the speakers. since then i've pulled them off two more times trying to figure it out. thought maybe something was pushing against the inside but never found anything. still does it. if anyone has an idea i'd be intrested in hearing it too. it gets to be a pain popping them back every other time i get in the car.

i think this is the begining of a new little crink in our cars, It will go with the headlight motors, window motors, spider cracks, air-born t-top panels, bubbly roof panels, loose spare tire bolt, and on some the alternators and false gas gauge

I too am a member of the "sail poppers" club... I think they were like that for a while, but it wasn't till recent that I actually noticed it and popped it back in... we shall see how long it stays!
I got some industrial hook and loop stuff from my dad and used that, as it's much better than the stock stuff. I have also used some silicon adhesive between the two "velcro" contact points to help keep it together, both have worked for me. You just have to make sure you hold the panel in place long enough for the silicon adhesive to set. I'm not worrying about ruining my stock "velcro" with silicon adhesive, as I have a whole role of the aforementioned industrial stuff that works better anyway.

I had the same problem on my 99 T/A. I had taken it to the dealer to fix when it was still under warranty. I think they ended up using some kinda industrial adhesive to permanently attach it to the car. hahha
I would try replacing the velcro with some Industrial Strength Velcro that you can get at any hard ware store or office supply place. Ive definitely seen it at Office Depot.

Correction
Pull the rear quarter trim speaker cover.
See Figure 1
Make sure the quarter trim panel is seated to the Velcro attachment points. See Figure 1.

Drill and insert the screw to secure the trim panel to the body. See location shown in Figure 2.
Reinstall speaker cover.
