those look damn good, and a great price for the whole package. Waiting to hear some feedback on those rotors, that will decide if I get the slotted ones, or order up some Brembos instead.

here's the link to PBT's sale.................https://ls1tech.com/forums/sponsor-sales-specials/779061-pbt-special-front-rear-drilled-slotted-rotors-hawk-pads-269-shipped.html

Thanks for the comments ArcticZ.. Actually, i did come from slotted/cross drilledprior to this set up... I actually had the Eradispeeds..so i am well-versed in the whole blak vs. slotted... The eradispeed actually lasted long than my blanks and were actually maint. free.. and the dust was minimal ( that is due to the pad)..

anyway.the comments are appreciated none the less...

But, if you were coming from drilled/slotted already then obviously the last sentence doesn't apply. Regardless, it does look pretty sweet, that's for sure. Say hello to getting used to cleaning off brake dust more often, though

they fade less because they dont get as hot, but they are also a lot weaker than a simple blank

Brake fade has to do with heat, which drilling does nothing to help with. In fact, drilled rotors should theoretically get hotter because there is less surface area to dissipate the heat due to the missing material. Venting is what helps cool the disc. Slotting is typically intended to actually wipe away the debris that builds up between the pad and rotor (and there is also talk about the buildup of gases between the pad and rotor but that is more old school oriented for various reasons) so you get a better uncontaminted "bite" from the pad. But, if a slotted or drilled rotor feels better to you, then go with it. Sometimes the mental improvements are worth it (not being sarcastic), not to mention they obviously look better. It just all comes down to whether you're going for looks or actual serious stopping power (which very few people are actually going for or need).

Im gonna have to go with artic on this one. its proven, but you all are welcome to disagree all you want

The racing teams which have drilled rotors drill the holes solely for the purpose of removing weight, they have ducting to the brakes so they do not need the extra rotor area for dissapating heat so they can afford to remove some weight by drilling them

are those on backwards? i know it is dependent on the vane inside of the rotor, hence me asking.

With cheap drilled and slotted rotors it does not matter, I have the same ones. As with the Eardispeeds or whatever they are called, yes it matters.
