How can I get the aftermarket WS-6 hood to adjust forward, towards the nose of the car?
I'm trying to fix somewhat of a gap between the headlights and the front fascia.

You just gotta loosen the bolts that hold it on a bit and move it around. Trial and error. Helps to have 2 people. Mine looked probably 90% as bad bit came out okay after messin with it.

u may want to try taking a file and trying to oblong the 4 bolt holes that the hood bolts on to, i had to do this to my car, it was like a 1/4 inch gap b4, and now after this, its about as good as its goin to get, try takin 1/8" off the front-end most of the four holes, and then the hood will move forward, just do that until u get it perfect, hope this helps!!

That looks like my AM hood too, well just change the color to bright red and it's mine. The fenders line up well for me, but, the front is staring at me with a 1/4" inch gap. Just wondered mrb if the filing helped at all. It's either that or I'm pushing the nose back an 1/8... JK

If I unbold the hinges that connect to the body, will that be able to move it forward or is dremeling the holes in the hood the only way to do it? I don't want to mess up more stuff than I have too. My Dad always said "If you can't fix it, f*ck it up" I think I will wait for an answer from you Guys first before messing around with the hinges on my "Baby".

i didnt dremel anything in the hood, just the holes in the hinges where the bolt go through...i had the hood "all the way forward" on the hinges, but it still wasnt good enough...so i dremel'd the steel hinges just a little bit and it fixed it pretty well

Thanks Restoman,
That makes sense now. I'm running on little sleep so I was trying to figure out how dremeling the holes on the plastic hood was going to help. Man, I need a vaca. Got it all the way forward as well. I will attack the hinges this weekend. Thanks again. Perfect fit, here I come.

Well, I dremeled the holes in the hinges yesterday and it fits better, but, I'm still not happy. When I was putting the hood back on I stripped one of the threads in the hood. They used aluminum backers. ALUMINUM!!! I was so pissed that I quit. Maybe next weekend a perfect fit.
Looks like bigger bolts next time

ouch...yea, using aluminum is pretty stupid...maybe try dremeling it a little more to make it work, i didnt have to remove much to make it look good, as mine wasnt too too far off(maybe 3/16" or a 1/8" give or take)...good luck
