OMFG!!! I'll trade you my 2 cars and my first born(whenever I have one)?? LOL That's beautiful!

LT1Hawk, I found every pic except the white LS1 you posted, they just weren't quite right. The green car in the group pic(2nd behind the teal hawk), is the exact color but I guess they don't have an LS1.

no, they do not have it on an ls1. i checked the production numbers in a breakdown of color. there were only 14 chameleon hawks ever built. all were lt1's. 12 were coupes, 2 were verts.

LT1firehawk. are the 1991-1992 firehawls rare? that thing is so sexy. and i want one. but i never see them listed forsale. im a huge camaro fan and want on really bad. but i would really consider buying a 91-92 firehawk if i can find one forsale in good condition. also what other colors did the 91-92 hawks come in? and what exactly did the firehawk package consist of in 91-92?

click this link. it will take you to a page that will tell you ANYTHING you want to know about a 91/92 hawk. and yes, they are very rare. 27 were ordered, 2 orders were cancelled so there were only 25. and i heard one of the orig cancelled cars is still with the orig owner, and it has the rpo codes but never made it to get converted. word is, he knows what he has

You and me both! I debated selling all my cars to get one...they're getting pricey though. Someone got lucky a few months back and scored a red 92 off e-bay for $16k. I wonder if they know how lucky they are.

LT1Hawk thanks a ton for all the help man, you wen't above and beyond the call of duty helping out with this thread! If you or anyone else has any more pics keep em coming!

I wonder how many people would disown me if I picked up a 98-02 Hawk and had it professionally redone in the chameleon green, then re-did all the firehawk badging in silver. Think I'd be hung?

they know how lucky they are. they posted on firehawk.org shortly after. some guy turned in like 6 or 7 cars for an aston marton and the hawk happend to be one of them. that hawk sold in like 3 hours tops by (buy it now). next day the dealership had to take the phone off the hook, too many calls on the hawk

and i think you should buy one and have it repainted chameleon!

i have a chameleon formula, they never made the chameleon into a ws6 or firehawk for the formula to my knowledge. so far in the time i have been on this board i have only seen 3 other blue green chameleon formulas (in the ls1 body style)

this should help you out

91/92 hawks = 25

93 hawks (lt1) = 201

94 hawks (lt1) = 500

95 hawks (lt1) = 671

96 hawks (lt1) = 41

97 hawks (lt1) = 86

97 hawks (lt4) = 29 (+ 1 prototype)
EXPLINATION OF 1997 HAWKS
they made a total of 116 firehawks in 1997. 29 of them were equipped with an lt4 rather than an lt1
98 hawks (ls1) = 0 (+ 6 prototypes)
EXPLINATION OF 98 HAWKS
To clarify what has become a confusing situation for certain enthusiasts, SLP Engineering, Inc. did not produce 1998 model year Firehawks at its Montreal, Quebec, Canada production facilities.

SLP did however add Firehawk content to 6 1998 model Trans Ams and Formulas. That work was performed at our Troy, Michigan facility. The 6 vehicles were purchased locally from Pontiac/GMC dealers, converted in Troy, then used for 1998/9 model year marketing and sales activities.

In addition, it should be noted these vehicles do NOT contain the GM RPO WU6 option code. While these vehicles do contain Firehawk content, they are NOT considered production Firehawks by SLP.

-Reg Harris
99 hawks (ls1) = 719

00 hawks (ls1) = 741

01 hawks (ls1) = 640

02 hawks (ls1) = approx 1501

That's the color! I want to make a Firehawk clone in that color. I put an ad up in the classifieds to try and trade for a formula. I figure I'll add the hood/rims and make it a Firehawk+

good luck with your search, i originally didnt like the color of my car at all until i read the build specs and my car is probably 1 of 1 with all the options it has. only 124 formulas were made in bgc in 98

That might be easier to do and it might not because the wheels are hard to find since they are discontinued and the hood is expensive. I don't think you will upset the firehawk people either way. If you do make a clone like i did then just don't put the lettering on the side.

To the person with the chameleon formula I know somebody with one right around the corner from me she's a girl in college that is only around for the school year and the car is never clean. Its a shame. Its funny once I got my 4th gen bird I realized that about 10 other 4th gens popped up in my little neighborhood. Its weird really.

And then there's part of me that just wants to take an existing Firehawk and paint it. F*** what everyone thinks, it'd be my own car. May not be "all original" blah blah blah, but it'd be a 1 of a kind Hawk.

Quick Reply: Looking for formula firehawk pics, 2 colors, white and green chromillusion
