i saw a "donk" at the movies here in houston and it had those vents on the side, but when the guy left they were actually speakers. they looked/sounded like ***.

We have them just north of you in Toledo, Ohio as well. At least they look ok on that 300c in the orginal post. Some people have them on ratty old cars, and I'm like "...right"

the story with these side vents is that they were first on older bucks, then they eventually went out of style. buick brought them back, and before you know it, every car on the road has them. i believe the term they used back then was "port-holes"

We have them here in Louisiana... I just don't understand HOW they think this looks good??? Also down here they typically people that have the fender vents typically have 20" or 22" or 24" or 26" emblems in plasti-chrome or even in fake diamonds to "show off" the size of their rims.. LOL!

The first time I saw those was in Houston over the summer. I hadn't seen them here in Oklahoma City, but they were all over Houston. I took a picture of them on a older mustang. I think it's popular more with the ghetto black population.
