Question Rear Smooth Bumper

Does anyone have pictures of, or know if they make moldings to fit in the rear license plate spot? I don't know if they make it but I think it would be nice. They have the front license plates that are contuored with the bird but was thinkin maybe someone made one to make the rear end look smooth. Does anyone understand what I am saying? I am having trouble explaining. Thanks

I know exactly what you are saying...exactly that, a smooth bumper with no place for the license plate....I have seen a photoshop of it for a Camaro. but I dont think this has been brought up about Firebirds....I think it is a cool idea though

Where would you put your license plate then? Or like a temporary snap on kind of cover?

That or just make it tinted but see through like the "smoked" license plate cover I have on there now. I figured it would melt the lines together better and make everything flow. Anyone else think this is a good idea or have any pictures?

Yeah like this, only it is a piece you can put in and it is a smoked cover so you can still see the license plate.

No I am not talking about this. I already did a search. And I know it is crooked. It is a picture from the day I put it on 2 years ago. Thanks for your 2 cents.

Someone asked where you'd put your license plate after that and it got me thinking... What about a custom made taillight center piece that would be clear, not have a keyhole and hold your license plate INSIDE?! You could tint the plastic also to get it 'smoothed over.' Swat

lol i say leave the friggin plate where it is, where else would you put the plate after you smooth the bumper out or do whatever your gonna do. Oh about the other option-Imagine a license plate at almost eye level where the hatch keyhole is, forget about it being smoked or whatever you're still gonna have to see it or else you better be good friends with all the cops in your town, it will look retarded way up there smack in the MIDDLE of the rear, License plates were made to be centered and at some low point in the back end of the car period!. lol Either way good idea but it just wont work without completely killing the lines of the car even more

No no. I don't think you're understanding what I am saying. I am not talkin about moving the license plate or anything. Clear your mind. I have a smoked cover on my plate. I am just thinking maybe they have a piece of see through plastic that could go over the plate and have it clear or smoked. From the striaght on view, you wouldn't be able to see a difference. My second picutre from the side of my car you would be able to. The lines would look smoother. Does that clear it up at all?

i know what your saying, but dont expect one to ever be made. There would be no demand for it, cause it's basically pointless, and doesn't help to improve the looks of them, in most peoples opinion.
If you're desperate to have one, start reading up on home-made vacuum molding, and make one yourself.
