Well, I put up another post, but they are the new Edelbrock coil pack covers. I'm trying them out to see what it takes to get them to fit on an f-body. I know the first issue is the stock fuel rails need to be bent / modified to fit. Aftermarket fuel rails will eliminate this issue.

I haven't had a chance to work on it any more as I have two sick kids, and my son just got out of being in the hospital for four days, so it will be a little bit before I can get back to working on these.

He's doing better, thanks. Now the concern is our 5 month old daughter as she is getting the same cough.... guess it's going to work it's way through the house.

As for the covers, I think I'm going to sand them smooth, paint them a satin black, and then do a Trans/AM logo in pewter. I'll match the FAST as well. Just my current thought...

To those who have painted their valve covers..... What kind of paint did you use? High temp engine paint or normal?

You shouldn't need high temp because the valve covers shouldn't get above ~250 degrees since your oil is roughly the same temp. or less.

That's similar to the look I'm going for as well. Going to paint the FAST a satin black, as well as the coil pack covers and then between the new fuel rails, and fuel line, I'll have a little bit of billet aluminum in there as well.
