It is a candy blue, but over a darker base color.

Just bumping this up since there's seemed to be some powder coating interest lately with people working on their car over winter

Been quite a flurry of threads lately with people wanting to know how to protect their polished aluminum from oxidization and continous maintenance.

I keep telling them best/cheapest method is clear powdercoating (allthough process for coating polished aluminum is a little different to yield good results)

But still they want some dirt cheap, slap it on, half assed method and expect the results to be good and last forever

Best methods I know for polished aluminum:

1. Chrome
2. Clear Powdercoat
3. Anodize

You might want to let people know that you can clear powdercoat their polished aluminum parts...

Can you match Fbody Navy Blue Metallic for calipers?

If you can, you'll be seeing some calipers and an intake in a month or so.

Clear powder coating is a great solution for polished aluminum because it will still remain glossy, never fade, and very easy to clean. Unlike stainless steel, aluminum parts will corrode and dull over time w/o a protective coating or constant polishing.
