Default Want Some Halos?

Me and my buddy have been trying to buy halos for our fog lights. We both have 99' Trans Ams and have been having a lot of trouble finding some. We are thinking about making kits to sell. He is amazingly smart with electronics and we figure it will be no problem. I was wondering if this would be a good idea and if there would be enough demand for them. Do you think this would be a good idea? Would you buy some?

Here are some pictures of Runn's car to get an idea.

There is a set out there that is in fact fog lights with a halo. I think they were around $60. That's what the guy you see in the picture used but he never would disclose where he got them. I used to have the link but I've been looking for them for the last couple of days and can't come up with anything

I personally think CCFL Angel Eyes look better than LED's although the LED's might last longer.

A good majority of the Bimmer guys use the CCFL's as an upgrade.

Unfortunately, the ones that I have the ring isn't that bright and there is no way to always have it set to the same color on turn on. The color can be changed using the controller, but turning them on/off rotates through the palette of 7 colors. So I left it disconnected.

the first link on the retrosolutions the ring looks more complete than the second link,,,,,do those ones only cmoe in white? I wonder if the color can be changed. I wish there was a way to out those on the stock fogs.....also, are these things illegal if they are lit up red or any color for that matter?

I had these on my bird and they suck. Don't waste your money. They lasted about 2 weeks before they stopped lighting up. If you could get someone who is talented with led's to rewire them with ultra bright, long lasting led's, they might be worth it.

in cali putting blue, red or strobing lights in your headlights can be taken as impersonating a peace officer . . . unless the law changed

Will Optilux-Hella Angel Eyes Driving Lights fit? I am not a trans am owner so I am not sure what size the stock foglight is. The Hella Angel eye foglights are 4".

That law exists everywhere. I wouldn't set the halos to blue or red.

What I wanted to do was have then on white for DRL and amber for signals. I have a circuit design in mind, but I haven't tried it yet.

I honestly think 4" is too big and won't fit.
