How about the yee haa shift ****? Does anyone know if anyone actually makes it? IIRC I first saw it in a car ad.

For those of you who haven't seen it, instead of

1 3 5 R

2 4 6

it is

Y E E E

H A A

Goofy I know but that's me.

I know this post is a little old, but wanted to post up mine. I like the 6-spd pattern over the "H" stamped into the leather...still gives is a stock look as well over the aluminum top piece.

If you get one off a Cobra, it will need to be tapped.

Or just get a Ford Racing 1/4 stick, change out your stock (or GM brand short stick - Lou's or whatever), and install the Ford Racing short stick backwards. Fits very well and looks like a stock stick, just shorter. Seems easier than re-threading the ****, plus you won't lose rigidity in cutting away on the original **** threading making it thinner.

It's what I did to install my **** above (it's the **** off of a 2001 Cobra R).

BTW - TORCHD 02 TA...Love your car pic in your sig!

Yes you could use the the handle from a Pro 5.0 from a mustang and put it on a Pro 5.0 on a Trans Am... But i am going to re tap it.. that is all... Not a big deal.

Thanks for the complinments.. Click the idle clip in my sig... I got more pics too

Torchd - your car sounds great. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of headers are you running (and Y)? Also, who makes the cam?

Don't worry, I did click it...love that sound. I keep mine dumped before the muffler as well, with a 224/224 .562/.562 114 LSA cam. When I do my heads in the future I may have to look into a cam similar to yours.

All those ***** are cool, but they're EXPENSIVE! Not to mention I love my own personal touches here and there. Got this one custom made for 25 bucks and had the "U.S." Insignia Pin that came off my Air Force Uniform set into the ****.

what...no 8-ball shifter *****? I figured a few of you would have that...i guess you gotta be a real B.A to get one of those. I have an auto but you gotta push down to shift, so there's no button to press. Looks slick. I kinda want an 8-ball shifter..
