Default Side Stripe

Alright this might be a little hard to explain, which is prob why i couldnt find anything in my searching lol.

Im wondering if anyone has a picture of this or knows where one is. Im thinking about putting in a small stripe down the door line once you remove the side modlings. I had a friend with a 30th aniv camaro with a orange stripe done this way and it actually looked real nice. Im just not sure if the LS1 is any different as far as the door line once the side molding is removed ( mine is still on ).

Does anyone make these stripes or will i have to go to a local shop and have some cut?

I found some pics of my old roomates

And my car that i would do this on

You should be able to find some vinyl on a roll and cut it to fit. I think it cleans up the lines when the molding is removed. That color brings your eyes right back to it. Your car is clean, I'd remove the molding and leave it alone.

Same here. Just get a manta or hood scoop fill in. That would be much better.

... i may or may not be partial to them though... so consider my opinion biased.

a graphite hockey stripe would look absolutely sexy though.

OR a black manta or scoop insert. hawt... but done all the time.
