Color Change? so heres what i have been thinking. my car is black rite now. it looks good for the most part. but has its little things here and there. and i really want to get it all repainted, and have the lil door dings i have takin out. what do you guys think. should i repaint her black again. or go SOM? i really love SOM on our cars. and think it would be pretty bad since SOM is alil more rare then black. and hopefully easier to take care of. black looks great in the shade, and @ nite.. but SOM looks good in both

i have a feeling everybody who has a black car is gunna say go SOM cuz we all kno how had black is to keep clean..LOL. dam to sexy colors...very hard decision....

I would never repaint a car a different color unless it was a full repaint. I.E. underbody, under the hood, engine bay, door jams, etc etc. That usually hovers in the $5000 range and I doubt you are doing this. I say keep it black.
But if you are convinced on doing a different color, do something a little more rare that didn't come on f-bodys. VSM or vyper blue are good choices

what is VSM?
as for what they are painting. i dont really care for the undercarage. BUT under the hood, and door jams are a must. the engine bay i want to paint it gloss black. IMO it looks better. even with SOM. since SOM does go well with black. but we still have time till i get my tax return. so some pics of these other colors mentioned mite convince me!

hmmm...
ccw's, FM5s or the bogart RRT's would be nice...dang but i think the price tag on all of those is more then my paint job, and some cash put together..LOL.. unless i can find those babies used... hmmmm

Since the car's already black, the SOM might not be as bad of a job. You can still keep the engine bay/underbody black. It would only look retarded if you were going from like an odd color to SOM
