With the underside 99% done, I have started on the paint. This weekend I am passing up on the rotory buffer and sticking to the Porter Cable to help things keep moving. Less mess I have to clean up, the quicker I can get it done. Will buff it out using only one product, Menzerna. I will buff it twice with the Intense, twice with the final, once with the finishing glaze. Then pull the car out for a wash, so I can get the vert top washed and protected. Then get the car up on 2x8's so I can adjust the a-arms. Then go from there. I may even apply the Menzerna FMJ at the show. That goes on by hand.

Well, its FINALLY off the stands and I could only get the allignment close, as I could not get the steering shafts to even budge. I will leave that up to the professionals I guess.
Still so much more to do, but with a little over a week left till we leave for the Winternatioanls in Florida, its now down to the important stuff and the plans are to load it in the trailer next Sunday and be out of here early Tues. We can't wait.

Wow that is just awesome man... makes me wish i never undercoated my car. which i did because it spends 99% of the time in my garage and its not heated or insulated so metal tends to sweat and rust. motor and tranny and exhaust have been removed for my forged motor rebuild. I would love to do this and would like to know how much would a cheap sand blaster run me? is the sand refill expensive? other then scraping with a putty knife i'm not sure what other way i could remove the undercoating. wish my garage was heated.... i want to sand/polish my CME tips so they look like yours or chrome them. good luck at the show!

i was gona ask you the same thing as i have installed mine and was gonna ask you how you lined yours up?
i layed them next to the stockers and measured them out and tried to get them as close as i could did the same with the uppers but my steering is a little but i have coil overs on the front that i havent set completely up yet (i need to do that but ive been busy trying to get the engine running)
