Alot of vehicles will come from the factory like this. I had a 2000 silverado that was indigo Blue metallic never repainted that you could tell a little difference inbetween the cab corners and the front of the bed. I'm guessing its just from where different parts will get painted at different times with a different batch of the same color of paint.

A friend of mine who works in a body shop said it could be difficult to match the front and rear bumpers because they are made of plastic which influences and causes the difference, as for the hood, I don't see anything wrong with it.

i was in the same boat with you..My car is white also and it had to have a lot of body work done to it and we repainted the front bumper and fenders and then it did not match with the hood.. The hood looked yellow compared to everything else. So we ended up repainting the hood too...but oddly enough the factory door and factory painted quarter panel look a little off too... i just its just the way it is

Paint matching isn't easy for sure. My hood was repainted due to rock chipping and now most people can see the difference. Now I am saving to eventually repaint the entire car fully disassembled in hopes of making 'er look better than new

yeah a lot of cars have this problem. it has something to do with the plastic. if you want to get the hood painted have them blend the front cover and the fenders. you'll get the best look that way. white cars tend to yellow after awhile and when fresh white goes on or the old white is recleared it looks crystal clean again. a lot of acuras have this problem from the manufactuer aswell and theres are some of the worst color diffreneces. my uncles tl bumper covers are like 3 shades darker then the the rest of the car

for some reason, the front bumper and the mirrors fade/change colors more than the rest of the car. just get it blended if its that big of a deal. mine doesnt match at all now (had the new hood painted... paint wasnt a good match) but im leaving it till i can repaint the whole car...

its has nothing to do with the fact they are plastic. these cars when they are made at the factory are not painted at the same time as the bumper or hood or even fenders. yes the paint is the same but humidity and all kinda of different aspects of weather can have an effect on how the paint lays down or curs wich can cause a slight difference in color.

The angle of my hood picks up the reflection of the sky sumtimes and gives it that look. Only I notice it tho because im always looking at it

My car has this issue too. After I got my SS hood painted I noticed that the red was a different shade. Totally stands out in direct sunlight at certain angles. And to make matters worse the front piece on the ground effects are super faded. So if the lighting is right I have three different shades of red on my Z
