Default Perfect Guages - A must view thread

Definetly the best interior mod I have done.

I took off the guagecluster clear plastic piece off and cleaned the from dust and did a little armour-all to the inside of the cluster. I then threw in the LED's and was amazed. I proceeded from the write ups on how to do the rest of the LED lighting for HVAC. Fog/ASR, and headlight **** from Keliente's website.

Color: Hyper White
Easyness: 4/5 - Remove a few bolts, pop off the Guage Cluster, then put in the new LED bulbs. Plug-N-Play.

The soldering part was for the headlight, ASR, and Foglight switch.. and it was easy even though I have gorilla fingers...

Im more of a stock-look fan but this mod was a good choice. I can see everything in the guage cluster exactly the same as if I had stock light bulbs in there, and its not to bright. It looks 10x better then the dull greenish look from the yellow bulbs and blue tint in behind the guage cluster.

ps. My HVAC unit is missing one LED bulb on the right side.. so now its more evenly distributed.

Update more pics below.....now 2 bulbs in HVAC.....also replaced all interior lights with red LED's so I wont be impaired light as much.

PM me for questions!

Do you have to solder all these, or is there a pre-made kit?

yea i did my gauges in blue LEDs i like them a lot but i would like the hyper white better i can see the gauges perfectly fine just the needles dont light up as bright as i want them. how much for the fog light and asr switch my orange light on asr went out so i have to check my gauges to see if its on or not.

I replaced my orange lights for the ASR and FOG light switches with Orange LED lights. I'd prefer to have my orange lights working but I broke them all by accident so I was forced to use Orange LED's. The Orange LED's almost seem to bright for me.. but I can't do much... I guess its not that bad.

Looks good. I also did mine in hyperwhite. I definitely like the look better with LEDs. The only thing that is lost is the dimming feature but not a big deal. I also have orange LEDs in the fog and ASR switch as well as white LEDs in them. Nice mod.

This is super badass. I wouldn't mind doing the same thing in my TA. The hyperwhite LEDS don't wash out the color of the film I'm assuming? I mean, if I were to use the same bulbs in my car, the red would simply show up brighter, not a brighter pink, correct?

That's the one thing I'd worry about... losing the dimming. I keep my gauge lights as dim as they go, so unless they make a very low output LED, I'm hesitant to do it.
