Default Door Panels - Are Firebird and Camaro panels interchangable?

Will they line up with the dash? Door handle and lock line up? Before I start on my interior I think the Firebird door panel looks better, and would be much easier to work with.

There is some cutting to do the Camaro door structure to make them fit.

i think they look much better too. I'd also Love to do a full 03 Vette dash and door panel combo in it.

they are interchangeable you have to hack off the old pieces on the camaro door that the door handles bolt into and they bolt right up, you need some bracing though, ill post pics of my camaro with t/a door panels

after you cut them off, do they still screw to the door and define "knock them off"

Agreed. If I'm to cut the two nubs and the higher part that all have bolt holes on them, what does the door panel screw into?

I was in a junkyard today. I only got a quick look but it looked like the interior of the door itself, the part that the door panel bolts up to, is removable from the door. I wonder if that piece is interchangable with the Camaro piece. I think the last option I'd take is hacking off part of the door, but we will see.
