x2jesse1x - you are getting terribly close to violating non-sponsor policy. Tread lightly prior to becoming a sponsor.

You would need to figure out pricing first and not ask what people would pay for them. If you'd said you were working on a prototype and if there was interest in that, it wouldn't be so close to non-sponsor backdoor sale type threads we get all the time.

Just get some friends lights and work on them, figure how much it costs for the bulbs and labor and you'll have a general how much for the price. Shipping is a flat rate you can figure out through sites on the web.

The last thing would be if there is any interest to chase down selling on a larger scale.

I don't live far from Year One and I have seen what has come from when they did that to the Ban One cars. The whole lens panel looks stunning.

I upgraded to the honeycombs (and love em) but I bet if you got a few examples together and posted pics & short vids (and prices of course), you'd find some buyers without a doubt. Step 1 is the burden of the seller though.

Surely you've got enough replies to see it's a good idea. As long as there are companies out there selling stupider looking creations (and we've all seen em), the market is there.

I look forward to your update in the parts for sale/sponsor section someday. Best of luck.

I been looking into this for t/a's for a while now, the problem is not the leds, it is getting the stock t/a taillights seperated to add the circuit boards w/the leds since the led bulbs suck, some discussion of heating them similar to the 'whistler mod' for the camaro headlights came up but it gets pretty scary when one tail light housing is a min of $150 to replace. If these bolted together they would be a breeze to mod. I even bought a set to mod, they are sitting next to my desk now but I am too chicken to rip them open...I got spare tail lights...

Oven is a sure no go. I attempted to open my tail lights via the oven, and ended up melting the lens (bubbling plastic included), putting a huge dent in it, and still not getting any flex in the glue.
