guage clusters??

guage clusters?? i did some searching and found that a few members had done this but didnt mention the size of the guages they are running except for one guy that seemed very proud of the fact that he got 5" speedo and tach in but he put a 4th gen ta interior in a 69 camaro so i dont think that would be a good way of guaging what size i need for my 01 bird.
long story short new wiring from nonsponser which has leads for most of the guages and its more pain to go around the logic module in the guages then it is to fab up everything for custom guages. i dont really care about pics ive seen quite a few but i would like to know the size of the guages you went with seems like it would be easier to fit the 3 inch speedo and tach then the 5 and have to pic what guages to get rid of to make that work.
and im curious if grndragon will respond i am very interested in his setup
cause i have heard of a style guage that im intersted in that i could produce something similar to your setup
its a led bar sweep style guage havent found who makes them yet but friend of mine was telling me about them so i have been looking pretty hard for them

grndragon has a 5" tach and speedo and 2 1/16th gauges around it im pretty sure. for my lt1 camaro im using the 3 3/8ths tach and speedo but theres no chance in hell of getting a 5" in there. ive seen the t/a's done with both the 3 3/8ths and the 5" gauges with the 2 1/16th gauges around them. i had a good size thread going about gauge clusters like this in both camaros and trans ams until a few members on hear started talking **** and crying about eachothers cars instead of helping out the thread so the mods closed it. if you can pm me the non sponsor im curious about the wiring harness you talked about.

Ok i'm game.I'd like to know what type of speedo do you use and how is it hooked up.The other gauges are easy to figure out but i've wondered how the speedo is hooked up as the stock one is feed by the computer.Also does anyone make the plate to use for the insterment plate like they do for the street rods?

let me find my camera i never actually took pics of the finished gauges i made the plate
magic man most use a electric speedo that you can calibrate just make sure they are capable of runnig on a 4k pulse then hook them up to the ecm feed most have a some sort of setting to set it up where you drive it a mile hit the button drive another mile and hit it again and its ready. or atleast thats how mine worked
