Hey, that's my engine compartment in the pics! Those pictures don't do the engine compartment justice. It looks much nicer in person. Specialized Stainless is a great company to do business with. Their customer service is excellent.

it would look unfinished because the seam wouldn't be completely flush. It's kinda hard to explain but picture a nice rounded bend and then a flat edge sitting on top of it... I could of done what you said and then welded the seam it made, but they guy I did the work for didn't want to pay more than he had to.
