Stop spreading lies. They don't come anymore. Three cops came today towards the end, but they just got out of their cars and walked around. People reved leaving and some did some fast accelerations and the cops didn't mind.

I told my dad about the cops coming a long time ago when it first started. I told my dad this, and since he works for the Police Dept part time he went and talked with his friends at Irvine Police. I guess the head guy in charge Saturday mornings is a huge car guy and ordered the cops to keep a low profile. They hardly come anymore. No one knows that I was kind of responsible for removing the cops from the event.

 

Same location and get-together. Different Day. Every Saturday morning.

 

its not a lie, and i will NEVER go to this. anyone who wants to go needs to know of the risk involved.

 

You haven't been in a LONG time or at all then. Today was the first time any cops showed up in a long time.

I'm not really a fan of the enzo ferrari's. The nose looks like a vacuum cleaner to me... Never did like the styling. But that LP640 is sex on wheels!

the last incident i know if was about 2 months ago when Nordy Racer got rolled in his 300zx TT for no front plate and modifed exhaust. while the cop was writing the ticket several exotics rolled by with crazy work done and when mike asked why they arent getting popped the cop said "we dont know what they have stock so theres no way to pull them over for modifying it".

I know that with my luck, ill go the ONE time the cops decide to monitor it. my car isnt all that illegal, but i have no front plate, non-CARB approved headers, and modified exhaust.

 

That nordy racer thing was a very long time ago! That was at least 4-6 months ago. The cops were only being dicks there for a few weeks and then everything went back to normal.
