Looks nice! I'll be converting mine to HID, I am still debating on the color temperature, I am thinking 6500 or 8500, I am not sure yet.

Im curious to see the beam pattern, because when I tried out my HID kit in halogen housings, the glare was unbelievable. I knew it was going to be, I just wanted to see it first hand.

Last time I tried to post about this tho, the post disappeared...

Only H4 style housing Ive seen come close to being tolerable is the E-code housings. They seem to produce the least amount of glare.

Im building a set of projectors for my thirdgen bird, which seems to be the hardest car to try to retrofit into. Bi-zenon projectors for the single headlight guys, and something that is just regular zenon for the camaro, 4 headlight guys. Thats the way to go...but its a lot of work.

Ill reserve judgement til we see some nighttime pics though. If you can, pull away from a wall, maybe 25ft or so. Thats what we need to see. Not a "on the road" shot.

They don't look quite aimed right.

They look like this:
---=---
...---=----

When they should look like this:
---=---=---

I'm not sure (its difficult to tell from the pics), but the left one might be slightly high.

Can you align them and takes pics again?
So far it looks ok, but borderline a high beam pattern.
Can you turn on your high beams for comparison.
(with and without the low beam).

Can you also take a pic at half that distance for comparison?

Sorry for sounding demanding.
Its the just way I think.
(I'd be taking pics and thinking through it like that too.)

Agreed... when the weather gets better try and get a few more. Also, kill those fog lights for a couple pics. Just to make the beams clear.

Oh yea. I forgot about those. Definitely.

If you want an idea of the kind of pics I'm talking about, check out the pics I posted in my install in the Lighting FAQ.
(I have some pics in the snow in there too.)

I'd get rid of those things and get some projectors. Being flashed is one of the first signs that your lights are too bright/mis-aimed. Not only is what you did illegal, but it's also extremely dangerous. Not knocking you, but just giving you a heads up. You're just giving police officers another reason to cite you.
