Default I want to replace my Auto shift handle

I was wondering if there are any options for replacing an automatic shift handle on a 99 trans am. Does the stock auto. handle from a 99 camaro fit on a trans am?

Its amazing how many GM cars have the same type of handle. Heck I'm headed out to the wrecking yard on Monday to grab one out of a GrandAm that I liked to put in mine.

Yes. I had a Trans Am **** on my auto Camaro before I went another route.

Before you set your mind on a Camaro ****, check this thread out:

You don't have to put a T-handle on there, btw.
Any **** that fits our M6 pattern will work.

Thanks for the responses! I just like the look of a camaro handle. The t-bar looks too large for me and has small defects from the previous owner. I like the leather boot Gold Z!

I hate the look of a t/a handle. I also chopped and shortened the shaft:

I hated the TA shifter.
chopped the shaft and put in a 94 camaro shifter. Theres a little write up I did somewhere in the link. Not the best writeup but it might help.
