Default Can someone help me find Orange parking lights on 98 transam

I cant seem to find any good looking orange parking lights for my transam..Is there a website that sells the bulbs for a 1998 Transam??..The ones i usually get are from Wal-mart and they dont really have that(stock orange color) to them..They are always a lighter orange color....Can someone help me find a good pair please..Thanks!

I used to handle the stock room at a gas station (long time ago ... phew, glad I've moved on) I've noticed color differences between packages of bulbs (sometimes even within packages). I guess it's the glass they use doesn't have the proper amount of dye in it sometimes. The best way to get a matching dark pair is to go by an auto part store/gas station (gas stations usually have them out of packaging, and not in pairs in neat little cards, 'cos they buy in bulk) and get them to search for the darkest pair you can get.

The letter at the end of the bulb part number also designates whether its a coating or that the glass itself is actually that color.

Example:
3157 ==== Clear
3157A === Amber Coating
3157NA == Natural Amber (the glass is actually amber and not just painted)
3157R === Red Coating

The benefit to "NA" over "A" is that its a darker more even color that will not fade.

That's some excellent information right there!

I have ALWAYS wondered what was up with the lettering. I knew it had to do with the coloring but didnt know exactly. Sweet info.

Get you some LED bulbs and change to an EL12 Flasher. You won't regret it
