front bumper question i have a 02 camaro ss pewter the car is showroom except for the front bumper. it has little chips i want to take off the bumper and have it painted. i have read on here that many people have done this taking off the bumper. my question is was there a big miss match in paint? because it was not blended?

with that color i would deffinatly (sc) blend the fenders and the hood, that color has a few variants to it.. my car is the same color and has never been painted on and the front bumper is a little darker than the rest of the car in the shade from the factory....
chances are even if you blend it it will not match your best bet is to just paint the bumper and do your best to not get paint were it meets the fenders and hood just the clearcoat that way it will match the same as it does now. if there are chips close to the surrounding panels touck them up and sand smooth before clear is applied
