what do u mean by funktional. Is it not just for clearance and looks? Also allows for cooler air to enter the engine bay.

I have the vfn 3" high rise ss hood on my 94 z28. Yes it's functional. Just be sure to tell them that you want them to cut out the scoop for you - that way it's a perfect fit. Because I think they ship them un-cut from there factory. But yeah - also the back is open like a cowl induction hood. So it lets air in and out from both ways.

I almost forgot, Do the 35th ann strips fit on that hood? If they dont, Does anyone know someone that can make custom 35th stripes for the hood?

I dont see why they would not fit. I seen them on 4" cowl hoods before. Also make sure you tell them your a ls1 tech member I think you get 10%off for just being a member to this site. Not sure but I know for a fact you get a nice discount. - It will save you some cash. I saved over 100.00 on this hood with a gp they had a while back ago. Heres some pictures of the hood on my car. Old pictures but it will give you a good idea of what it looks like on the car

Thanks. I have no night pictures because my camera kinda sucks for night time pictures. That's the hella 90mm headlight conversion. Was around $300.00 to do this conversion. Very easy to do. Twice more light then stock also.

Yeah they give a 10% discount for LS1tech members. I just ordered my Sunoco yesterday! I can't wait. I was gonna go with the high rise SS but for some reason the Sunoco really stood out.

I don't really know the functionality on the LT-1's, but it does NOT direct air directly to the airbox on LS-1's
It lets air in, but as far as a performance gain, you won't see any....thats speaking for LS-1's.....

Detroit 903- Amazing car!! I love it
