Yeah, I have the same thing on my 'bird too. It was fun crawling underneath it today.

I know people here in Indiana that actually store their cars outside for the Winter. Their logic is the moisture outside isn't as harsh as the moisture inside your garage.

Yeah in my shop if we open the doors and let the warm wind go across the cold concrete it will get really wet. The car itself doesn't though.

I've done this since I got my car. It works wonders! I just buy a huge "painter's" tarp at HD or Lowe's and lay it down on the floor. Make sure its big enough for your whole car, obviously. Then I drive onto it, put on my indoor car cover and then tape up the side's onto the cover and over the wheels. Never had any issues with water or condensation on the wheels or car while storing but I also just throw on my stock rims and keep my polished TTII's in the basement all winter so if there was any water on the rims- it wouldnt matter.

Next year look into putting a tarp down, its just an added barrier between the cold floor and your undercarrige. For me- it was a no brainer.

Wow, that sucks Jonas about the condensation, I'm storing my car in my parents garage, had to call my dad to check on it, cause it's covered as well. So far so good.
