got another fbody
car runs really well except for that cold start thing, especailly for being his drag car lol. i dont know what the deal is with the idle or what it could be. im thinking maybe the valve springs are overtightened and when they are cold they hold the valves closed for longer than they should be, does that make sense?. (when cold started especially when its cold outside ill have to hold the pedal and give the car a quarter throttle to keep from dying for about thirty seconds and then the car is just fine)

) with the intake iced and cooled off for 30 minutes. If I were to drive it [I'm 170lb's] (and if I could launch it like he could) it would be in the 11's (with a 12.07 all you need is 70 or so pounds of weight off the car to break 11's).Not sure about the cold start. Sounds like a tuning issue. Maybe you need a VE/SD tune. Take it it to a tuner and see what they say.
