wouldn't those rubber grommets get cut some day with the edges of the cover and hit the posts, shorting out the battery?

No. It's a tight fit so it won't bounce around.

So what makes this battery cover worth $25 more than the normal battery cover? A couple grommets?

This is what I meant. I have no use for one seeing as I don't own an optima battery I was just curious what was so special about these compared to his other ones that appear to be similar but with two holes and grommets.

Saying two grommets makes it cost $25 is not constructive, its been cynical. Maybe it didn't came out as intended but i understand toofazt reaction.

The thread is meant ot let a product be known to the community, if you think is overpriced would be better to stay out of the thread, IMO. Thats just a good excuse to stir things up unnecessarily.

Sorry if I took it the wrong way but I'm pretty sure he was being cynical like chaman said. Anyways, lets try to get back on topic of the new cover and if you have any questions, let me know

Thank you!

For the mirror polished stainless, only use clean microfiber and quality metal polish like Mothers Billet Polish. For the brushed stainless it doesn't really matter how you clean it

Thanks, I notice your area code is 909, I used to live In Daimond Bar when I was a kid, same area code. But any case it looks god, nice to see y'all filling the void, MBA used to make a lot parts for these cars but I beleive they went under. MBA had a LT4 Valve cover trim set, some thing you may want to look in to producing.
