What i ment to say was.. I have a duralast battery... are the post on my duralast the same on the optima batteries? SO will these covers fit my battery

Unless you want to stamp the piece out or weld it together... Aluminum parts can have curves because they start off as billets (blocks) of aluminum and get machined down to size by a CNC. The trade off on that is you can't get a mirror finish like stainless, harder to keep polished and can corrode
