Default mice damage cheap!!!

Hey guys I just found out something that just might keep mice and other pests out of our cars and make it smell good at the same time. A guy I work with told me that Bounce dryer sheets (fresh outdoor scent only) are suppose to keep those little bastards away, he said he found an artical on the internet about it he said that it even works in the house if you put them in your basement around the walls. He bought a 07 GT and in two weeks of storing it for the winter went out for something in his car and found something on his seat looked up at his sun visor and seen the hole in it
He then went in the house and spent like 5 hour looking for fix, and he said this was one of the best things that he had come across. So I tried it and so far I have no problems with them, hell I even went as far as to see how my cats would react to it, so I put one right up to the nose of one of them and he ran like hell from it. Hell my dobberman dosen't even like the smell. Hopefully this will keep them away for good.

yea but what happens if the mouse dies in your car then you got a real problem when the rotting corpse starts to stink up the car

From what I understand...they get real dehydrated before dieing and in turn head outside to look for water.

Either way...I like this dryer sheet idea. I have gotten one this winter in the house already.

I had luck with leaving some moth ***** around and under my car last year. I put a good amount under the hood since I'd imagine that is where they would get in from. I also put some traps under the car to see if any get set off ot even trap one, then you know those bastards are there and its time for poison. Hopefully it works again this year.

plus the dryer sheet will leave your car smelling fresh. or it will just give the mice more material to build a nest out of???

The mice that died in my last winter beater did not go look for water. It stunk sooo bad for a very long, long time. Traps 4tw.

That would be nice to know for sure because those little bastards ripped up the interior of my dads 66 GTO last winter. They stole some foam from his seat and ripped a hole in his headliner. Damn mice.

I set up a bunch of traps around the garage with some peanut butter on the trigger. Little bastards can't resist.

mothballs anyone?

put some in a little breathable net n tie them and stick them in various places under the car and hood. I put some in the tailpipes, in a sack also, and get no mice.

Mothballs didn't work in my old car, I had a half full box under the hood of the car, and the mouse used the box to store the dog food pellets he stole . . . and it stank something aweful for months . . that was in my old 81 Camaro . .

Oh and some mice infiltration pics for you to enjoy:

Under the windshield cowl:

Tail light for food storage:

Under the back seat: The "white" fluffly stuff is crumbs of the seat bun foam, tan is seeds and the black particles are mouse poop . . . .

The little ******** also used the cavens of the hood for food storage, since you can hear it rolling around evey time you open the hood, and the head liner too since seeds fall out of the defroster "circles" in the "A" pillers. . . .

Moth ***** don't work they will eat it and it dosen't kill them. My hole point of posting this thread was to keep them out of the car all together not just to kill them, so that they won't even think of building a nest or chewing the materials in the car. I'm not looking to kill them although I do I just don't want them in the car when they die. rotting flesh compounded with heat and other elements makes for a really nasty smell that i hope most of you don't ever get the pleasure of enjoying.
Plus this a quick easy and cheap cure all, no poision for your own animals to get into or they might even eat the mouse and cause your own animal to get sick or die.
