Charcoal vs Ebony interiors

I read this on an ebay listing:
Up for auction today is a set of charcoal leather door panels removed from a 1998 Camaro Z-28. These were were removed from a car with t-top and low mileage. This set will fit all 93-02 Camaros regardless of trim but are the correct color for 97-99 models. The correct color for 00-02 models are ebony and 93-96 models are graphite. Please check our other auctions for the matching seats.

Is this correct information? I'm looking for leather door panels for my 02 Z28. Interior is Ebony. Will charcoal look wrong? Do I need to limit my search to 00-02 Camaro door panles?

I dont think they would look too bad, but its more of a personal preference than anything.

Ebony is much darker than the "graphite" pre ebony colored interior.

^^ Yep, you throw in graphite with your stock Ebony & you'll definetly notice it doesn't match.

They're similar.(the graphite and charcoal) I think the graphite is a little darker. Ebony look the bast hands down

39 is Charcoal, 40 is Ebony... Charcoal is more of a Grey color as you can tell

I had Ebony and Charcoal in my Camaro and if done correctly looks very nice...

It will look retarded... Mine is a 1998 and I switched EVERYTHING (dash included) to ebony.

I want to switch my seats and door panels over to the ebony/blk aftermarket leather kt like the Katzkins kit. Where can I find the color for my interior. I have a 2001 Z. I want to make sure my plastics will stll match tho.

I too am in the process of converting my Gray interior to Ebony.Night and day difference IMO...

I have recently changed to Ebony leather seats, door panels, headliner,...

I need carpet,seat belts,visors to complete.. Yeah, it looks kind of shitty now!

Like alot of you guy's, it's a work in progress...

At least they gave an honest, good description in the auction. Most eBay stuff is like "Its grayish black and will work with all camaros and trans ams. No returns sales final."
