its probably different from state to state or store to store. i went to 2 autozones and got them. since my local one only had 1 in stock until they ordered more, i went to another one in the next city. both were 20something. i think 23 each.

all u gotta do is call your local autozone and ask them. if the say 40 something.. then ask them about the sale. because they told me 40 at first too then i said they were suppose to be 20 and he acted like he typed the wrong number in. but you call them and give them the product number and see if its in stock.

Brian did you get the ones that have something engraved on them?

Can you flip them over so you don't see it?

yeah its the american racing tips.. they're also called 3A Racing.

they say 3ARacing at the top..but you dont notice it since its tip is tucked under the bumper. the bottom of the tip has a small hole for water to leak through i guess (if you did get water in the tip)

I noticed that they are chrome plated not stainless. Any issue welding them?

i only tacked mine on. they tacked fine. i also used the clamp that came with them. plus i hammer mine down onto the tail pipes. so i didnt need to really weld mine. i used a stick welder to tack mine on. i need to go back and tack them on better.

We wouldn't recommend installing any tips other than stainless steel. Chrome plated tips will start rusting very fast.

If you take a look at part # STRA25 on our web site, these are very popular twin stainless steel tips that are T304 stainless steel.

That's the same exact ones I have...$62 shipped for a pair, off of Ebay...they are T304 stainless steel, with the small black painted area...very nice tips.

Has anyone looked at using the 2406 tips from Autozone?
They are a single 4"

Any problems with expanding the dual ovals from AZ since they are chrome?
