Default opinions wanted....

im debating on whether or not to keep or ditch the frc's. i like em because they hide a bunch of stuff that i havent felt like hiding/ relocating. and no one else has gto covers. so should i keep them or just paint the valve covers, coils and brackets? here is a pic of mine in its current unfinished state (going to finish panting it all this week i hope) and one of eriks car all done just to give an idea. i would need to buy fuel rails and start painting a bunch of stuff.

I like the second picture more. Maybe if you made the lid match the intake it would really look bad ***.

I like them, although the color seems to clash a little with that painted intake mani.

I wonder what they would look like if the large part was painted gloss black, the strips were painted red to match the intake and the SS letters were red.

I think those look cool. Maybe paint them? FRCs look clean without going to all the trouble of coil relocation, valve covers, and billet fuel rails.

This is what I'm thinking as well, I think painted like this it would really set off your engine bay and give it a clean & mean look

ditch your covers, paint the valvecovers in black and just clean up the coil packs real well and make sure the brackets are in good condition paint wise, looks much cleaner and less "HEY PAY ATTENTION TO ME"

This is very true. Never really liked the covers and its just one more thing cluttering under the hood. Keep it simple.

For any other car I'd say take em off and clean up the valve covers / paint the coils / etc...

For your car though (which is an actual LS2, right?), I'd say keep them on because they were intended to be on that motor, and its kind of a tribute to the custom job that you did. That and they're modified to say SS as well, which makes it fit in just perfectly if you ask me.
