Easy Engine Bay Detail...!
I found an easy way to detail the engine bay, but some may not like it...
I took some normal car wash and a soft bristle brush and went over all the loom, then took a rag and wiped all the close tolerance areas real nice, like around the brake booster area and such, then took a little simple green for the dirtier areas like the valve covers and such...
Then rinsed real nice with a low pressure nozzle, then dried it real quick with a leaf blower... Then took some foaming tire shine and put a light coat on everything, I like the foaming cause you can tell if you missed any spots... then before it completely dissipates hit it with the leaf blower again, it gets it all in the hard to get areas and makes it look real nice while smoothing it out really well, leaving a super nice even shine on it all...
Takes a total of like 10-15 mins... Just thought I'd share...
Oh and also the opti hates getting wet, that son of a bitch.

Well...Everyone I've asked said it would be fine and that getting it wet shouldn't bother it... but ofcourse it did...
I've got friends with LT1s that do it all the time, and never have problems, but everytime mine gets damp at all it does this no starting crap till it dries...

The opti was the same one that came from the factory, all the way up to engine #6, when it was yanked off and put on mine. Long Story, might post one day how I got this car for $100
The color is custom, took the factory teal color and took out 2 ounces of green and added 2 ounces of blue, then 1 ounce of blue pearl... Looks green by day, and blue by night.

My Engine bay is Yellow. lol
The Block and ValveCovers are Canary Yellow, with Yellow loom.
I was 15, my dad called me at school and said he was about to drop off the engine at the body shop to be sprayed, and I said my favorite color is yellow ...so its still yellow...
