WS6 = IN YOUR FACE

SS = Classic subtle muscle

I like the back have of the SS more and but nothing beats the front end of a WS6..

Did that make sense?

this car will not be modified much. Just a fun daily driver driven on nice weather days. The 69 will be the modified toy.

Steve, makes perfect sense. I also like the Camaro rearend better, and the Pontiac front end better. The 35th really isn't that "subtle" with its flag/checker stripes. I think those stripes kinda cheapen the look of the car though.

I like the lines of the Pontiac better, as well.
Plus, it seems like the color scheme of the WS6 would flow better with its red/black/black - as opposed to the SS's red/silver/black/black. Personally, when it comes to colors I like a simpler look and it seems that would be the WS6. Just my $.02

Huh? I would think the WS6 is a more complicated look with all the spoilers and larger wing.. I think the SS is classier and the WS6 is racier..

To tell you the truth Tony the PERFECT car for you would a 98 SS Hugger Orange vert with black hockey stripes

I can't stress enough how much more I like the WS6 over the SS. The Camaro is a great looking car. I agree with Steve. It's a bit sleeker while the WS6 is purely badass looking.

As much as I love the TA, you already had a WS6 Formula (or at least a Formula with a WS6 hood ). Maybe you should go with the SS.

thanks big unit, you've been no help at all! lol. Make up your mind already

I gotta admit that comparing the photos next to eachother sure gives the edge to the WS6. I'm still not completely sold on those silver stripes, but those can be pulled off.

Andy's red SS convertible is awesome, much sleeker without the graphics on it.

Sorry about being so wishy-washy. It's a tough choice. I voted for the WS6 and I'd buy it 10 times out of 10 over the SS. That's me though. It all boils down to what you want.

Upon further review of the pics, you should definitely get this one:

I am sorry but the 35th will be worth more in the future. Now dont get me wrong the WS6 is a pretty car, but the Camaro always has and always will be the more profitable car in the future. They only made a little of 1000 convert. 6-speed 35th's and I am sure there were more WS6's made, but I may be wrong on that statement. Any how my vote is for the Camaro. I guess I am just a stubborn person when it comes to camaro versus firebird ( or T/A's)...

I say go for the SS. If you don't like the stripes, yank them off and put the hockey stripe on to match the 69. You will have the best of both worlds, last year of the 1st gen and last year of the 4th gen. And if you really want them to match order the same Intro wheels for the SS, which i think would be pretty cool.

Did you read my mind, or a reply I made somewhere else? If I get the red SS, I'll most likely put the same Intro wheels on it and the black hockey stripe. Having a matching pair of red SS's would be sweet.

I think the WS6 wins in the looks department.

But, it would be really cool to have a red 1st gen and a "matching" red 4th gen (35th anniv. no less). I'm not a big fan of the graphics and wheels on the 35th, but if you were to remove them, and add those badass wheels you have on your 1st gen, I think you just might have the perfect pair.

Good luck with your decision.
