Default Rear seats....

Yeah, about the rear seats..... THEY SUCK!! Why in the hell did GM add a built-in lumbar to the seatback for the rears when the front seats don't even have lumbar? Even still, the lumbar sucks.

I was looking to see if there were any options for an aftermarket rear seat. I haven't taken them out or anything so don't flame but is there anything that just bolts up as a replacement? Would like to take my Z on a roadtrip but I don't want people in the back complaining. You can't do much about the lack of space back there but I was looking for some kind of seat back replacement, and seat covers don't look like they help much.

really? i love how the rear seats feel! i've sat back there for 4 hrs straight once and i was super comfortable (5'11''@170lbs). i've never had anyone tell me they had a problem with the seats themselves, just the leg room.

I didn't know that either. The only things that have ever been back there are the vacuum cleaner hose and my arm to wipe the area down.

I was kidding about the lumbar. The ***-portion of the backseat has a slight ridge/curve to it that sticks out further than the seatback, its GM's ghetto lumbar I guess. Maybe my Z is weird, I'll try to get a pic or something.

Yah deffinatley no leg room! Or room for any One time I had this girl back there and I moved both front seats all the way up and still didnt have enough room! Im 5'8 she was 5'2! Then the worst part was after words when I tried to put my seat back it was stuck up against the wheel! The electric motor wouldnt move it back so I had to drive 20 minutes to drop her off then once I got in it again it started working again!
