Default passenger side airbag?

i did a search but i didnt really find what i wanted it was mostly just a description of how to, which was very helpful it answered my question, but i have another one

to those that have pulled the passenger air bag. how much space was actually made was it enough to mount the ecm in there??

car has custom wiring harness so airbags will no longer work reguardless

I just measured on an extra dash I have at the shop (Camaro) and the airbag takes up about 11Wx5Hx6D of space. If you remove (or re-route) the passenger side AC duct there will be another 3-4" of depth to the cavity.

It will probably fit. If anything you may just have to remove a chunk of the duct. You'll see what I'm talking about when you see in in person. Here you can see where it may be interferent.
