Default Help messed up my paint

Tryed to get the hase off my car with alittle 3000 wet sandpaper and it srached it all to hell. I was told if you do it litely it would be ok. Anyway is there another step to finish it off? I dont know why I did that but thought it might work. DO I need to buff it or something to get it loking good again. It really looks shitty.

Need help asap.

Take it to an autobody shop and have them machine out the car's surface.

If you sanded completely through the clearcoat, your screwed.

Good luck...

Aren't you supposed to wet sand, then buff?

wet sand it, then use a rubbing compound, then buff it with a wax. should be fine

yea WET sanding is what you were suppose to do... get the porter cable and get the swirl remover out, then work up to a wax
