lol the only difference between the stock ls1 and ss front end is the hood.

But anyway I recieved this huge book on Camaro's for Christmas and I was reading it the other day and it said the 4th gen lsx cars front end design was inspired by lexus.

I guess the project manager or whoever they hired had just come from lexus, which explains why the lsx front end has flush fitting headlights like japanese cars and it very round etc.

I know that's a bit vague I will look it up again in more detail next time I'm home.

here is ALL the production numbers for 1996 camaro ss's. it breaks down each color with each option. i absolutely love my ss. it's 1 of 16, and i didn't even know it. neither did the previous owner. not bad for 5500. what did you pay for yours?

Yeah its not mine anymore, really only was for about a month and I still wanted a black one and I found my 02 SS with everything I wanted so I bought that.

The 96 SS in the thread is now my dad's he liked it from when I showed him the ad for it so its his now and I am the personal car washer of the car still haha.

I never said that I didn't like LS1's actually that if far from the true. I had the 98 Z and my 02 SS so I like them quite a bit. I like the LT1 SS front ends better than LS1, but I would much rather have my LS1 over an LT1, especially has a summer DD, but I do like the LT1 SS's a lot especially the feel of an older muscle car.

Btw here's a couple pics of my SS, my dad's SS, and my bro's 91 Z. My SS is going to have the ZR1's that are on the 91 in the spring instead of the 10 spokes and the bro's is going to have pry some Foose Nitrous wheels.
