I agree though, a good set of winter tires can change the whole feeling in the weather. I've been driving a 2wd 2dr blazer through the snow and it has some real nice winter Michelins on it and I cruise right through the snow.


I wonder why they don't use that back oxide stuff on the roads like they do here. It makes a huge mess of the bottom of your jeans and the sides of your car but seems to work.

That is my only problem driving in the snow, its when it gets too high and the front of the car gets stuck.

No. One day, a hippy will save my life, and I'll say "Thank you hippy. I'd like to repay you. I'll help you find a job. Oh, you just want to sit around and get stoned all day huh? Oh well. Good day to you, hippy". And my view of all hippies will not have been swayed. I don't know how the car does in deep snow, as we don't get much here. I've driven it in 6 inches of powder like it wasn't even there, and I'll occasionally run over pretty good sized snow drifts with ease. I need to find a way to get another inch or so of ground clearance, and I'll be good.
