To tint or not?
To tint or not? What would you guys do? If I do tint it will be 20%. I don't like going darker and any lighter seems almost pointless IMO. The only issue is I don't know if I like the black/blue look plus for some dumb reason my wife doesn't want me to tint the Z. It's our first vette and she wants people to be able to see us in it...I could give 2 ***** about that aspect. I'm just trying to figure out what looks best/meanest. The untinted pic is my car and I found the other pic online.

I've had 20% on my 95 firebird and on my current TA. I probably wouln't mind 18 or 15 but no darker. I think 20% is a great middle ground, i love it. I will never own another car without tint. Definitely tint that pimpin Z06
i love tint and it will definetly look sick on that car only i dont like tickets. Cops in my area will not pity your excuses for a second. I got many tint tickets and its now coming off.
it's basically just whether or not you mind being harassed.. or always driving in fear that you could get pulled over doing nothing wrong.
I've had 5% tint all around for about.. 2+ years now and sometimes it's completely not worth the hassle of having to worry about the police. But other times... pulling up to a light next to someone and getting that feeling that they can't see ANYTHING that's going on inside.. or walking out to this.. yes

Tint is great on a blue car it looks so sexy. The tint kind of sets off the black accent on the lower rear. If your wife is worried about people not being able to see you.... roll the windows down. Also like ryanfx said you can look at other people but they cant see you haha

+1 on tint. your *** and leather will thank you when summer rolls around, not to mention i think its a must do appearance mod on any car. tell your wife to roll her window down when she wants to be seen

I had a tough time deciding if I wanted to retint my car after having to remove it for a ticket last year. I had 20%, and while it looked good, got me a nice ticket. I took it off, but just put 35% on it a couple weeks ago. It's a little light for my tastes, but is definitely better than nothing. I was also pulled over for something else, and the cop didn't mention the tint at all.
except on some Fridays...i drive the SS.def. tint the ride though
20 on sides and 5 on rear is the perfect combo for me. all my cars will have tint. I get stared down a lot. I have tint and no front license plate. First day I got my tint I rolled up right next to a cop car. He looked and went right on his way.
