Wanting 3" SS HOOD!!
I think it would look awesome. The hood is also like a cowl hood because it's open from the back also. I posted up a bunch of pictures of my ss hood. Just check my post's. Also make sure you tell VFN your a ls1 tech member. I beleive you get a 10% discount. Another way to save money is to catch a gp when vfn has one. I saved over 100.00 that way. But other then that I love the hood. I noticed my Car also runs alittle cooler from all the airflow also. Also I forgot to mention make sure you tell them to cut out that scoop in the front - they will do that for free for you. That way everything is a perfect fit with the grille insert. Mike

Thanks alot!! Your car looks mean!! I am prob. gonna get it, just need to sell mine. I think it looks better on cars with drag wheels, but don't get me wrong, looks good all together!!!

too big? I think maybe the 3 inch scoop is a bit too big. It needs to be a bit shorter, in my opinion. The 3 incher just doesn't follow the lines of the car very well. I don't think the tall WS6 hood looks good either. VFN should make a version thats in between. I would like to have a bit of a taller scoop for my SS but not that 3 inch one.
