Default how to remove road tar?

I just washed my car and there are still some road tar spots on the pain around the wheel wells that just wont come clean. What do you guys use to get tar out?

3M adhesive remover, sometimes you can find it at Autozone or somewhere like that, or auto paint stores almost always have it. It's going to strip all of your wax off though so remember to go back and put some wax back on (anything you use will probably strip the wax no matter what).

might be able to use a clay bar as well, never tried on tar tho

Nope. Its used for many things like removing the side molding and even removes tree sap and removes marks from the clay bar if it gets stuck on the paint.

simple green works awesome, i use it on my rocker panels all the time to get road tar off.
