Now if Pontiac made a truck...that might be a different story!
Ha! Sounds like a very naive truck owner...the Chevy with the Izuzu motor is about 400% more reliable with the the Ford with the 6.0 and 6.4 IH motors. The 7.3 on the other hand...thats an old reliable engine.

Nice car BTW...if my Vette sells, I'll be looking for one just like yours

Naive about the Chevy's maybe, actually I knew it was Isuzu motor and why I said Nissan is beyond me. I know that Isuzu diesels are very reliable (at least in forklifts and cab over trucks in I-4 and I-6 configurations)...but how you come up with them being 400% more relieable than a 6.0 or 6.4 is beyond me. Granted the 6.0L had a lot of problems in the first year but after that they were very reliable and solid motors. The 6.4L are very reliable and have no issues I know of except for the poor MPG many experience. At any rate, my truck has 91,000 miles left on the warranty and I trade every two years any way! And if you want to argue the point the Cummins is the best engine out there anyway...if it just didn't come in a 15 year old truck I would have bought another one of them (and I suspect late next year I will.)

At least you do have great taste in cars!

Its not driven...but its bone stock (except the tires and wheels) and just isnt much of a show car. I would say 1500 of the miles were put on it in the first 3 or 4 months I had it. So in the last 8 years its averaged 100 miles a year. So it just stays at home most of time dercorating the garage.

I dont have a dream of it appreciating and making me a ton of money...hell I doubt I will ever get back out of it what it cost new much less the 8 years worth of insurance I have paid on it. So I guess since I am already into so deep I will just keep it forever...or until I find a comparable SOM Vert I can trade it for!
