No clear coat?
No clear coat? I was washing my car the other day and noticed when I was washing in the wheel wells the paint started coming off? Is there no clear coat or what?
Also, I washed the inner part of my wheels and the black paint started coming off. When I wash the exterior of my wheels with car soap its fine but when I pulled them off to wash the insides the paint comes off.
I'm using Meguiars Gold Class car wash.
I recently bought four new LE wheels from GM parts direct. Should I clear coat the insides of these to prevent this from happening on my new wheels?

if you bought the car used it sounds like someone has painted a fender or something and alot of car dealers will spray paint the inside of the wheel wells black so they look better
