Default new interior: pics

Well finished up my interior today. Had to make custom brackets to hold the seats in right. When I initially put them in, I sat them on top of the factory brackets and they sat WAY too high. I wasn't going to be able to handle that...so I took time to make some new brackets to make them sit almost at factory height.

Minus shift **** and bezel around cluster...I'm not putting in the shift **** for it to get dirty before the car is actually finished.

those seats look amazing in your car! The interior looks incredible, good job. What kind of fabric is that? Who makes them?

Looks good Travis! They're comfortable too! Did you use the control arms or did you do something different?

Honestly there was something about the stock seats that I like better. Those racing seats just don't do it for me. Other than that you know how I feel about your car from your other thread.

Those seats look cheap. I don't know if they are, but they look it. Other than that, I really like what you've done to every aspect of your car.

The seats are actually from a brand called Tuner FX. When I bought them they were solid perferated black with a big TUNER FX logo stitched into the area about the harness holes. I said NO THANKS and got the centers covered in a carbon fiber like material.

Quite a few people I know have these seats or a set of the same brand, all holding up well. Also, I have just about $500 in these 2 seats. I wouldn't be able to find a good condition set of ebony seats for anywhere near that...

I appreciate the compliments on the interior. It's still got a ways to go(shift & e-brake boots eventually and also I'll install my gauges in the AC vents once the cars up and running. Right now I just want to get it on the road). I was lucky enough to have a friend "loan" me his ebony rear seats for the time being because I personally don't like the look of rear seat deletes.

I always hate how racing seats look. That being said, you pull them off amazingly well with that car. Great job.

5301113-Much appreciated.

1BDTRAM-Actually I updated the center console about 6 months before doing the swap. I hated how high centered the 93-96 ones were. Luckily I found one for a good price and snagged it. Lemme tell yah too, I'm dreading even thinking about keeping these things white...gonna have to look into some slip on covers probably.

Twigs-hanks man. I didn't want to overdo it and thought that with the white being so big it might, but luckily enough it wasn't.
