They'll be up on the Afterthoughts Auto website soon. We also have designs for SS, Z28, and Trans Am.

Looking forward to seeing your designs though!
I have a 35th dash plate coming from Afterthoughts Auto as soon as it is finished being made.

What font did you use for the "SS". I've been trying to find it for some time but haven't had much luck.

LOLSlow? Yes perhaps but that's not my fault. It takes a lot of time, money and patience to get a product Officially GM Licensed. They are licensed now. The hard part is done.
We may need to talk about your design... it's almost a dead-on ringer for mine (which is copyrighted). I guess great minds do think alike but we have invested a lot into it. Like I said, we may need to talk. I know you won't want to step on any toes. Especially those of the sponsors. I like the engine plate though!

I also wanted it to match the dash plaque, but have the SS and LE numbers on it.

You may want to hold off and get the one from Afterthoughts. I think you're going to like it and you can get your custom numbers printed on it just like the dashplates - and best of all, it looks 'factory' (actually, much better than factory). Keep your eye on the website. We just have a few final production details to muddle through until we can get them available to everyone. Hopefully very soon!

I like those designs Tony.. one suggestion though, you really dont need the top two bolts on the head plaque, its cleaner without them (see my Poltergeist designed one)..

You do know this is diverting $$$ away from you 69 right?

Anyone wanna take bets on how long it will be before Tony is buying a beater cause the LE is too nice to be a daily????
Mark, I really don't have the time or need to market decals. The only decals I market are "LS1TECH.com" decals for obvious reasons. I'm sure your airbox decals will look great, but I'll be using my own since I designed it and it will be 1 of 1 exclusive on my own car. When people see it and ask where I got it, I'll feel good telling them that I designed it and had it made.

Steve, the plates are from MBA, I didn't have control of the starting shape since they are pre-made. Hopefully since the finished product will be aluminum color, you won't notice the background on the aluminum head.

Where's the popcorn?Seriously though, it does look nice and it's interesting to see someone do thier own custom work. I don't think I would have the time, patience, tools or skill to do it myself.
As long as your not selling themn and as Mark said, it's "almost" a dead ringer (lol), then you get around copyright and licensing infringement problems anyway.
On the filp side, Mark, I'm interested in taking a look at your designs. Need something to liven up the under hood area. I'll be hitting your site.
Good work...both of you
Tony
